Mother’s Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Arizona to help raise awareness around the organization’s “
Tie One On for Safety” campaign, which encourages drivers to tie a red ribbon on their car as a reminder to always designate a non-drinking driver.
“Every 51 minutes, on average, an individual is killed in a drunk driving crash and Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve is the nation’s most dangerous time of the year for car accidents,” said Nick Ray, state director of MADD Arizona. “During this past Thanksgiving weekend alone, DUI task forces in Arizona made 372 DUI arrests.”

Larry H. Miller Toyota Peoria will match customers’ donations to the campaign up to $20,000.

The funds will go directly to MADD Arizona to support the victims and survivors of drunk driving crashes, which occur once every eight minutes nationwide. Red ribbons and “
